Belmo Bowls Them Over for Top Award

THERE’S no prizes for guessing who won the 2012 Australia Day Sports Awards Senior Sportsperson of the Year award at the Australia Day Sports Awards at the Orange Civic Centre.

His year included Kuwait and Australian Open titles as well complete domination of the Professional Bowlers Association World Series in Las Vegas, claiming the Chameleon Open, the Geico Shark Open and the Pepsi PBA Elite Players Championship,

He has also shared the lanes with American basketball royalty in LA Clippers guard Chris Paul, together winning their second straight PBA Celebrity Doubles title.
